Amsterdam presentation
The magazine presentation takes place in Amsterdam on 4 July, 2013, and you can watch it live on this page.
The second issue of Works That Work is out, and it will be launched and presented in the Pakhuis de Zwijger, a platform for creation and innovation in Amsterdam. The Zwijger has generously offered their fantastic Grote Zaal, 300m² high-tech hall, for which we are very grateful.
Join us on Thursday, 4 July, 2013 at 7:30 PM.
Pakhuis de Zwijger (Grote Zaal), Piet Heinkade 179, 1019 HC Amsterdam
Admission is free, but please sign up for the event on this Facebook page.
Editor Peter Bilak will talk about modern magazine publication, how WTW is rethinking magazine production, distribution, and financing models. He and several authors who contributed to the 2nd issue will discuss the main themes of magazine: globalisation, how it works in developing countries, and its unexpected impact on people just around the corner and all over the world.
This event is an ideal opportunity to become part of Works That Work community as we blur the boundaries between contributors and readers, and discuss our projects and how to further improve the magazine.
