Readers’ club

by Peter Biľak

When you order ten or more copies of the magazine, you can get them for half price. This is the discount we’d normally reserve for distributors.

When we announced our social distribution model (in which readers get paid for delivering the magazine to bookstores), we didn’t know exactly how it would be received. The idea was to build a more direct connection between the publisher and reader.

You readers took the idea a step further. Instead of delivering to bookstores, you took the magazine to your friends, completely bypassing all the middlemen who make distribution more expensive.

We embrace this model and encourage readers to continue to share WTW amongst themselves. When you order ten or more copies of the magazine, you can get them for half price. This is the discount we’d normally reserve for distributors, but since you are the distributor, we’ll give you the lowest price we can offer. Thanks for being part of the team!

Some readers (thank you Bebel in São Paulo!) organised magazine readings in their homes or cafes. This is a great way to meet like-minded people, exchange ideas, and get the magazine. For these informal gatherings, we provide videos with additional information about subjects related to the magazine. We’ve even organised Skype conferences to discuss the magazine and get more people involved.

Get in touch if you’d like to join or host an event. Social distribution just got even more social.
